It’s Thirsty Thursday!

It’s already Thursday! The week goes by quickly when you’re having fun.

Here’s a recipe for my go-to smoothie, called the Green Monster. There are tons of variations out there, but this is one of my favorites.

What You’ll Need:
-1 frozen banana, cut into slices
-1tbsp peanut butter (creamy is best)
-1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (any kind will work, if its not Greek it’s ok)
-1cup unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze (or any other milk works fine)
-2-4 cups baby spinach (I fill up the remaining room in the blender)

Blend ingredients together until smooth.

Tips:
-Make sure you peel the banana and slice it BEFORE freezing.
-Make sure your milk is cold. Crazy, right? But if you have the Almond Breeze, you usually purchase it off a shelf and not the dairy cooler. From experience, make sure it’s chilled before using it.

This is a sneaky way to get tons of vitamins from the spinach without actually tasting like you’re eating spinach, for all you veggie-haters out there! It tastes like a peanut butter banana smoothie, not at all like spinach. Enjoy!

Remember, drink lots of water today. Sometimes the hungriest are the thirstiest!
